Receive non ferrous metals at American Iron & Metal’s Stratford location using computer skills, material handling, and a safety oriented mindset. Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
As a Non Ferrous Receiver, you will support site operations under the Site Manager’s supervision. The position focuses on receiving, sorting, and organizing metals, weighing tracked material, and maintaining premises. You will also assist clients on site and operate a forklift as required.
Key Responsibilities: Receive, sort, and organize different metal types
Cover the scale and weigh trucks when required
Track material accurately using the RECY system
Perform general premises maintenance and equipment checks
Provide client service and operate the forklift
Requirements: Valuable computer skills for site activities
Experience operating a crane
Metal recycling experience considered an asset
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather
Positive physical fitness and teamwork ability
Bring metal receiving, equipment operation, computer, and customer service skills to American Iron & Metal’s Stratford recycling site.
