Apply graph theory and optimization to intelligent decision models as an Architecture Research Intern at AMA. This is a 12-month chance with possible extension.
You will connect mathematical research with practical products supporting AMA members and travel experiences. The work focuses on energetic opportunity networks, decision support, and advanced modelling. Your research may progress from prototypes into production environments while addressing changing needs, preferences, constraints, and data. The role suits quantitative researchers interested in graph algorithms, combinatorics, operations research, or mathematical modelling.
Key Responsibilities: Research agile Graph Networks of Opportunities
Apply graph theory, network analysis, and optimization

Design scalable data models and update mechanisms
Build explainable decision support recommendations
Evaluate algorithms using quantitative evidence
Requirements: Pursuing or completing an MSc or PhD
Mathematics, applied mathematics, physics, or related quantitative field
Passion for optimization and decision science
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
Comfort navigating ambiguity and collaborating
Develop graph algorithms, optimization models, and practical recommendations while helping AMA advance member and travel experiences.
