Starling Community Services seeks a Child and Youth Counsellor II for its Benjamin Road, Birchlands program. You will supervise, monitor, support, and coach clients through treatment and academic programming. The work includes individual and group counselling, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, social emotional learning, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coach clients throughout treatment and academic programs
Counsel youth individually and in groups using DBT
Develop and implement client care goals and objectives
Liaise with families,



community partners, and internal teams
Maintain files, monitor security, and communicate medication information

Requirements:
Relevant child and youth work degree or diploma
At least one year working in a milieu setting
Experience working with youth and relating warmly
First Aid, CPR, CIT training, and a G license
Qualified communication, organization, teamwork, and decision-making skills
