This four-month Engineering/Technical Student assignment supports PCL’s Canadian Buildings sector within the Ottawa district. You will coordinate sub-trade work, review quality assurance, update drawings, track deficiencies, and participate in project meetings. The position suits students working toward a civil engineering-related degree or diploma who bring software experience and a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct deficiency walks and track site deficiencies
- Coordinate sub-trade work, scope, and trades
- Review quality assurance and trade quotations
- Update drawings, deficiency logs, and records




- Perform quantity take-offs and produce as-built drawings

Requirements:

- Working toward a civil engineering-related degree or diploma
- Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and drafting software
- Passion for working in a construction setting
- Self-motivation with a hands-on approach
- Eligibility for Government of Canada Reliability Status clearance
