Nova Scotia Health seeks a Medical Laboratory Technologist for Laboratory Services in its Core Lab. You will perform manual and automated tests using established protocols, computerized information systems, and networked instruments. The work supports clinical and environmental laboratories.
Key Responsibilities: Perform analytical tests and procedures using appropriate methodologies
Complete manual and automated testing across laboratories
Operate computer-integrated and networked laboratory instruments
Compare results with established reference intervals
Maintain confidentiality and communicate professionally
Requirements: Graduate of a recognized Medical Laboratory Technologist program
Successful examination completion in all five disciplines
Active Nova Scotia Regulator licensure required
Proof of Skilled Liability Insurance
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts
Bring technical ability, problem-solving skills, and qualified judgment to Core Lab testing at Glace Bay Hospital.
