Support resident therapy programs in Aurora as a Physiotherapy Assistant, using treatment techniques and protected mobility assistance. Work 41.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday.
Working under direct or indirect Physiotherapist supervision, you will help residents pursue treatment goals. Duties include group exercises, one-on-one activities, progress documentation, and monitoring health changes. This position serves a Long Term Care client and requires close resident contact.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with group exercises for Long Term Care residents
Lead assigned one-on-one activities as directed
Document treatments and resident progress after sessions
Assist walking, sitting, and protected resident transfers
Apply ice packs,



ultrasound, TENS, and hot wax
Requirements: Physiotherapy Assistant graduate or equivalent qualification
Solid multitasking skills and ability to work under pressure
Clear communication with elderly residents and supervisors
Current Vulnerable Sector police check required
Valid TB test and chest X-ray required
