Support theatre production at the Badlands Amphitheatre in Drumheller through prop maintenance, backstage assistance, and organized production notes.

The Production Assistant supports The Canadian Badlands Passion Play and the August event and concert season. Working with the Production Team, Stage Management, and professional and semi-skilled company members, you will assist rehearsals, performances, set dressing, and daily production operations. The contract runs May 25 through July 24, with potential extension into August.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support daily operations during rehearsals and performances
- Paint, repair, and replace set and prop elements
- Take and distribute organized production meeting notes
- Pick up supplies and materials as needed




- Run backstage and support preset and strike tasks

Requirements:

- Theatre, events, or production assistance experience is an asset
- Basic construction or painting skills are an asset
- Comfort working outdoors in heat, wind, and uneven terrain
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds
- Strong multitasking, organization, and creative problem-solving skills
