As an Assistant Store Manager at Lids Sports Group, you will help manage associates, customers, inventory, and store standards. Use Lids Training Programs, goal setting, clear communication, and selling strategies to support key performance indicators and sales targets. The role reports to the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as manager on duty during Store Manager absences
- Train associates and follow up on sales and task goals
- Resolve customer complaints, escalations, and urgent requests
- Execute merchandising, signage, cleanliness, and membership initiatives
- Open, close, and maintain safe store operations

Requirements:

- Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss
- Clear, skilled verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work unsupervised when required
- Ability to operate computers and mobile point of sale systems
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
