Apply surgical nursing expertise as a full time Registered Nurse with Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre in Northwestern Ontario. Support complex patients through adaptable, evidence-informed care.

Reporting to the Nursing Resource Team Manager, you will work within a matrix structure with Surgical Unit Managers. You will provide quality nursing care to complex patient populations alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The position supports competencies across diverse patient care areas while following College of Nurses of Ontario standards, patient and family centred care, and hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide quality nursing care to complex patient populations
Practice within College of Nurses of Ontario standards
Use the Nursing Process for individualized care planning




Recognize abnormal patient responses and take appropriate action
Manage multiple nursing interventions simultaneously

Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Solid interprofessional and communication skills
Ability to collaborate and consult when patients become unstable
Commitment to patient and family centred care
