Support adults through employment planning, job search instruction, and work experience coordination as an Employability Skills Developer with the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario.

This position delivers Enhanced Employment Assistance Services for participants with diverse employment needs. You will provide employment advice, organize workshops, liaise with community organizations, and follow up with employers and participants. Success requires accurate documentation, sound judgment, adaptability, and communication while meeting funder requirements and program deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver employment assistance in group and one-to-one formats
- Provide employment advice and guidance during opportunities
- Coordinate guest speakers, workshops, and community supports




- Conduct regular follow-up with employers and participants
- Submit accurate documentation within required time restrictions

Requirements:

- Employment services or related professional experience preferred
- Experience working with individuals with self-identified disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, email, and internet applications
- Knowledge of virtual delivery platforms preferred
- Legally entitled to work in Canada

Use employment counselling, adult education, and organized follow-up to help participants and employers meet program needs.
