As a Counsellor 2 Child & Youth Care Practitioner, you will care for children and youth in provincial programs. You will support social and emotional learning through pre-approved programming, role modeling, advocacy, and guidance. The work includes collaboration with families, specialists, and community services.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide care and programming for children and youth
Lead and co-lead pre-approved psycho-educational programming
Support self-regulation, conflict resolution, and healthy relationships
Document reporting, case notes, and file maintenance accurately




Provide crisis intervention and assist with program development

Requirements:
Child and Youth Care Worker diploma or equivalent training and experience
Awareness of trauma-informed approaches and youth needs
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to facilitate groups independently and collaboratively
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle access
