The Technical Director provides technical support for performances and events at The Orange Hub Theatres. This position manages venue systems, production requirements, and technical teams. Responsibilities include equipment operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, documentation, and coordination with artists, vendors, clients, and City staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as technical liaison between venue and producers
- Set up, operate, and strike event equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues during rehearsals and performances
- Recruit, supervise, train, and provide feedback to technicians
- Maintain equipment,



spaces, documentation, and safety records

Requirements:

- Five to seven years of relevant technical theatre experience
- Expertise in scenery, lighting, sound, projection, and stagecraft
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Vectorworks, ETC, and digital audio consoles
- Solid leadership, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in technical theatre preferred
