The Cleaner performs custodial work across defined facility areas. Duties include vacuuming, sweeping, washing floors, cleaning washrooms, handling garbage, and maintaining external property. The position also supports health and safety standards, reports repair concerns, and performs minor repairs when required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete light cleaning duties across defined work areas
- Vacuum carpets, sweep tiles, and wash floors
- Clean washrooms, kitchens, glass, furniture, and fixtures
- Maintain sidewalks, entrances, lawns, and storage areas
- Report repairs, hazards, and safety concerns to supervisors

Requirements:

- Completion of secondary school
- Up to one year of related custodial experience
- Knowledge of health and safety standards
- Ability to lift or move up to 49 pounds
- Willingness to follow WHMIS and OH&S; requirements
