Support patient meal service at Sinai Health’s Mount Sinai Hospital using food preparation, tray delivery, and sanitation skills. This part time role serves Patient Food Services.

As a Food Service Representative, you will prepare patient menu items, snacks, and bulk supplies for unit pantries. The work includes tray assembly, meal distribution, patient-room collection, and pantry sanitation. You will follow therapeutic diet restrictions, portion controls, HACCP procedures, and WHMIS instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver meal trays, menus, and snacks to patient rooms
Prepare and portion patient menu items and bulk supplies
Assist with patient meal tray assembly, distribution, and pickup
Clean unit pantries, carts, equipment, and work areas
Wash pots and pans and work in the dish room

Requirements:
High school diploma successfully completed
One year of customer service experience
Ability to stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours
Ability to lift or push 25 pounds or more
Food Handlers course and WHMIS preferred
