Support arena safety and customer service as a Facility Attendant with the City of Abbotsford, working on and off the ice. Intermediate skating skills are essential for this auxiliary Parks, Recreation and Culture position.

This unionized CUPE position helps operate arenas and community recreation programs. You will maintain effective patron relationships, follow facility procedures, monitor ice traffic, and address safety concerns. The work also includes equipment rentals, program support, and site organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor ice traffic control and safety procedures
Issue and retrieve rental skates
Report safety or operational concerns
Set up and take down recreation programs
Respond to patron inquiries and requests

Requirements:
Grade 10 education
At least one year of customer service experience
Valid Standard First Aid with CPR-C certificate
Intermediate skating skills, including forward and backward skating
Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and split shifts
