Our continued growth and development has created a need for a Machinist - Vertical Boring Mill in our Saskatoon branch.

The position is full time - 40 hours per week, with possible shift work. We offer competitive wages as well as a comprehensive benefit package after the completion of the probationary period.

Position requirements:

Key Responsibilities:
Complete set up sheets; documenting current product requirements for approval
Set up the machines properly and ensure that they are working at full capacity
Determine and then run the appropriate program for each job; make adjustments as needed to ensure quality product.




Load and unload the machines with the required products
Check and measure parts
Change the inserts when required
Operate all equipment, including in a protected and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
General clean up of working area to help maintain a safe working setting

Education & Experience:

Skills and Abilities
High school diploma or equivalent
Red seal certification or working towards certification required
Must have Vertical Boring Mill & Turning experience
Experience in programming CNC machines
Minimum 3 years of experience in a heavy metal manufacturing environment
Experience in precision machining with tight tolerances
Experience using an overhead crane an asset
