Program PLCs and troubleshoot industrial controls at McCain Foods' Fry Plant in Grand Falls, NB, supporting electrical and communication systems. This regular full time position includes 12-hour shifts.

McCain Foods (Canada) is seeking a Controls Programmer for plant controls, instrumentation, and electrical systems. You will work with Allen-Bradley PLC hardware, Rockwell Automation software, industrial networks, VFDs, HMIs, and field devices. The position supports reliable plant operations through programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
Program and troubleshoot plant PLCs, HMIs, and control systems
Configure VFDs, networks, sensors, valves, and field devices
Assist maintenance and production with technical issue resolution




Support commissioning and site acceptance testing activities
Communicate emergency repairs, actions taken, and support requirements

Requirements:
Valid Industrial Electrician licence required
Instrumentation Technician dual-trade certification strongly preferred
Expert Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation programming knowledge
Extensive industrial networking design and troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of CSA code and Arc Flash Safety requirements
