Prepare meals, support dietary service, and maintain secure kitchen areas as a casual permanent Dietary Aide with SLFNHA. Flexible shift availability is required.

The Aide supports meal preparation and service while maintaining kitchen and dining area cleanliness. This position reports to the Supervisor –Client Services and senior Dietary staff. Food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset, alongside protected food handling knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals and snacks
Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas
Check temperatures daily and rotate labelled food
Receive, store, and monitor kitchen inventory
Deliver meals to client rooms when needed

Requirements:
Protected Food Handler Certification or certification capability
Flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Independent, self-motivated approach to work
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently

Bring dependable food preparation, sanitation, communication, and customer service skills to dietary operations serving patients, residents, clients, and staff.
