Support Apotex laboratories through glassware cleaning, inventory control, and waste disposal during the Monday-to-Friday afternoon shift. Maintain safe, orderly laboratory areas.

This Lab Assistant role supports daily laboratory operations at Apotex, a Canadian-based global health company headquartered in Toronto. You will clean laboratory glassware, maintain supplies, manage waste, and complete LIMS entries. The work includes dissolution bath cleaning, gas cylinder maintenance, and clerical support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean laboratory glassware manually and automatically under approved procedures
- Maintain inventories of glassware, cleaning supplies, and consumables
- Collect and dispose of laboratory waste according to protocols
- Complete LIMS entries, labels,



and empty bottle disposal
- Identify hazards and maintain clean, protected work areas

Requirements:

- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Written and verbal English communication proficiency
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, Microsoft Office, and laboratory software
- Laboratory environment experience would be an asset
- Ability to lift repetitively up to 50 pounds
