Apply financial reporting knowledge with MNP’s Assurance and Accounting team as an Intern from May to August 2027, supporting client engagements.

This internship provides practical exposure to compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping, and tax. You will apply International Financial Reporting Standards, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, or Accounting Standards for Private Enterprise. The work supports comprehensive financial information for clients making informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess audit evidence for revenues, expenses, and receivables
- Perform accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and capital asset walkthroughs
- Establish charts of accounts and prepare posting entries




- Investigate and correct financial discrepancies and irregularities
- Prepare technical reports, client summaries, and presentations

Requirements:

- Working toward a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration
- Accounting or finance major preferred
- Working toward CPA Qualified Education Program prerequisites
- Client service experience considered an asset
- Accounting and tax software experience considered an asset

Strengthen assurance, accounting standards, and financial analysis skills while preparing clear engagement documentation for MNP clients.
