This Employment Consultant assignment serves clients experiencing multiple barriers to employment. You will encourage, motivate, and support clients while documenting strengths, needs, abilities, and employment goals. The work includes pre-employment assistance, career development, job search training, and follow-up that supports job retention.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess clients’ employment-related needs and abilities
- Support individualized planning toward long-term employment
- Deliver work preparation and skill development activities




- Facilitate referrals and community resource navigation
- Coordinate training, including on-the-job training

Requirements:

- Experience conducting and interpreting client assessments
- Background in vocational counselling and individualized goal planning
- Knowledge of career development and unemployment issues
- Understanding of confidentiality and qualified codes
- Relevant post-secondary education is preferred
