As Area Team Lead, you will oversee several geographically grouped locations throughout the Christmas Kettle Campaign. The work includes orienting volunteers, visiting sites during shifts, responding to donor questions, and reporting operational concerns. Locations are typically malls, stores, grocery stores, and retail outlets, with evening shifts and outdoor cold exposure possible.

Key Responsibilities:

- Orient volunteers on Kettle handling and assigned duties
- Visit locations during shift changes and intermittently
- Participate in recruiting recent Christmas Kettle volunteers




- Respond to donor questions about Salvation Army programs
- Remain at Kettles until relieved, ensuring donation security

Requirements:

- Some high school coursework; completion is an asset
- Strong customer service skills with people of all abilities
- Flexible approach under pressure and changing priorities
- Ability to maintain strict information confidentiality
- Willingness to support The Salvation Army mission
