Support Tangerine’s general ledger controls and financial integrity through banking reconciliations, IFRS knowledge, and systematic problem-solving in North York.

As an Accountant, Finance Control and Analysis, you will analyze balance sheet and profit and loss accounts. The work includes resolving reconciling items, applying accounting policies, meeting SOX requirements, and coordinating with internal teams and external providers. Banking products remain central.

Key Responsibilities:

- Reconcile mortgages, securities, funds, deposits, and credit cards
- Reconcile payroll, leases, assets, and foreign currency accounts
- Identify and resolve reconciling items promptly
- Ensure assigned accounts follow SOX controls
- Collaborate with teams and vendors on accounting issues

Requirements:

- At least two years of reconciliation experience
- Solid understanding of mortgages, investments, and retail deposits
- Knowledge of IFRS and established accounting controls
- Advanced Excel and Access proficiency
- Ability to manage priorities and tight deadlines
