School District 71 is hiring a temporary 0.8 FTE teacher for Grades 8-12 Humanities. This position requires experience designing and instructing Humanities online at the secondary level. Teachers work with students, colleagues, and parents while maintaining online classrooms and supporting blended instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and instruct online secondary Humanities courses
- Maintain advanced online classrooms in learning systems
- Implement online learning platforms to enhance learning
- Support assessment documentation for students, parents, and educators




- Work with students through online and in-person tutorials

Requirements:

- Online learning teaching training, certification, or direct experience
- Humanities education and experience at secondary school level
- Advanced assessment for learning practice knowledge
- Experience using Brightspace, Zoom, and Teams
- Ability to support course adaptations and I.E.P.s
