Explore seeks an entry-level Survey Assistant for hands-on outdoor work, GPS/GNSS surveys, and travel throughout Alberta and Western Canada.

Based in Peace River, Grande Prairie, or Edmonton, you will support Survey Crew Chiefs across wide-ranging projects. Work includes oil and gas, construction, environmental, geotechnical, geohazard, and LiDAR-supported assignments. This developing position builds surveying and geomatics skills through field experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with GPS/GNSS and total station surveys
Set up and operate survey equipment
Complete staking, measurements, and field data collection
Prepare field notes, sketches, and survey records
Organize equipment for field assignments

Requirements:
Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn
Comfortable working outdoors across wide-ranging weather and terrain
Ability to follow direction and work safely
Comfortable travelling and working out of town
Valid driver’s license required

Develop surveying skills with experienced Survey Crew Chiefs while supporting field projects across Western Canada.
