Turn machine learning models into productive programs at Tenstorrent, working on-site in Toronto with PyTorch and specialized AI hardware.

As an AI Software Intern, you may work across Models, Inference, Kernels, Runtime, Scale Out, or Compiler & Infra. The teams adapt LLMs, vision models, video and image generation systems, and other architectures for Tenstorrent hardware. You will explore how optimization, serving infrastructure, and distributed communication support real models at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

- Adapt machine learning models for specialized hardware
- Experiment with and deploy PyTorch models
- Develop serving-side inference optimizations
- Coordinate communication between devices in distributed systems
- Optimize programs through memory planning and profiling

Requirements:

- Currently pursuing computer science or related studies
- Experience with model quantization or kernel fusion
- Low-level high-performance programming experience
- Python and at least one machine learning framework
- Knowledge of RTL or HDL is helpful for certain teams
