Build high-speed server platforms for Nuvacore’s next-generation CPU, using PCIe, DDR, and SI/PI knowledge across data center hardware development.
This Hardware Board Design Engineer role covers concept, feasibility, schematic capture, layout collaboration, validation, and manufacturing support. You will develop high-density motherboards, baseboards, and riser cards for demanding data center workloads. Cross-functional work spans Package Design, Signal/Power Integrity, Thermal/Mechanical Engineering, Silicon, and Software/Firmware teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-density interconnect server motherboards and riser cards
- Coordinate PCB stack-ups, routing constraints, placement, and shielding
- Implement PCIe Gen6/Gen7, DDR5/LPDDR6, and CXL interfaces
- Validate prototype boards using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
- Prepare Gerbers, BOMs, and ODB++ manufacturing documentation
Requirements:
- Five-plus years in high-speed board design
- High proficiency with industry-standard schematic and PCB tools
- Direct experience with high-speed serial or parallel interfaces
- Understanding of basic SI/PI constraints
- Experience with board-level power distribution and DC-DC converters
Bring high-speed interface design, SI/PI awareness, and validation skills to Nuvacore’s data center CPU hardware development.
