Shape youth choral education through MYVoice and related programs while bringing conducting, recruitment, and community-building skills to Chor Leoni.

As Director of Musical Outreach, you will lead youth, education, and community programs for Chor Leoni in Vancouver, BC. You will recruit, manage, and direct MYVoice, a 10-week non-auditioned program for singers aged 12-19. The position also supports Emerging Choral Artist and MYVoice Invitational choirs while creating community initiatives. Solid candidates combine youth conducting, program development, vocal technique, and belonging-focused communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Recruit, manage, and direct MYVoice singers
- Grow MYVoice’s local impact through year-round engagement




- Recruit and help prepare Emerging Choral Artist choirs
- Recruit and help prepare MYVoice Invitational choirs
- Create initiatives bringing choral singing into communities

Requirements:

- Demonstrated success conducting youth choruses
- Experience building and scaling choral education programs
- Ability to recruit and manage youth choral programs
- Deep knowledge of vocal technique and choral repertoire
- Ability to engage communities through choral music
