Coordinate physician privileges and credentialing at Humber River Health, using scheduling, problem-solving, and administrative skills at the Wilson Site.

This Medical & Academic Affairs Specialist reports to the Director, Medical Affairs, within a non-union department. You will coordinate initial credentialing, onboarding, orientation, annual reappointment, and appointment changes for credentialled staff. Responsibilities include responding to inquiries, maintaining files and listings, preparing reports and correspondence, supporting stipend processing, and updating Medical Affairs policies. The role also supports Credentials Committee meetings and Medical Learners as required. A relevant undergraduate degree and experience in scheduling, customer service, and problem solving are required. Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom proficiency are required. CMaRS, Petal MD, medical terminology, project coordination, business analysis, and statistical analysis experience are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate initial credentialing, onboarding, orientation,



and information exchange
- Coordinate annual reappointments and prepare related reports and correspondence
- Prepare appointment, privilege, temporary privilege, leave, and resignation documents
- Coordinate Finance and Accounts Payable stipend tracking and processing
- Respond to credentialled staff concerns, inquiries, and privilege requests

Requirements:

- Relevant undergraduate degree in nursing, policy, arts, education, public administration, health, or related field
- Required scheduling, customer service, and problem-solving experience
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Teams, and Zoom
- Preferred CMaRS, Petal MD, and medical terminology experience
- Excellent attendance and discipline-free record
