The Architect supports Stantec’s Buildings Studio by interpreting client needs and developing cohesive solutions with multidisciplinary teams. You will lead one or more medium-sized project teams through design concepts while contributing across schematic design, documentation, and construction administration. Strong communication, BIM, and code knowledge are central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Translate client needs into coordinated architectural design solutions
- Lead medium-sized teams through development of design concepts
- Present abstract ideas to clients and representatives
- Apply accessibility,



building, sustainability, and life-safety codes
- Participate in value engineering and basic cost estimating

Requirements:

- Registered Architect in Canada required
- Seven or more years of experience required
- Ability to communicate concepts verbally, graphically, and in writing
- Understanding of drawings, specifications, and project phases
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
