Support student safety through school supervision and explicit communication as a Student Monitor with the Upper Canada District School Board. Work under the Principal’s direction across daily school settings.

The Student Monitor provides general supervision and monitoring for students during assigned activities. The position includes lunch and nutrition breaks, yard duty, halls, field trips, and other school settings. Candidates should anticipate student needs, follow procedures, and use tact, diplomacy, and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise students during lunch and nutrition breaks
Monitor students in halls and on school grounds
Supervise assigned field trips and school activities
Explain acceptable behaviour according to school procedures
Perform other related duties as required

Requirements:
Secondary school diploma
Six months supervising or monitoring children or students
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow school policies and procedures
CPR and First Aid preferred

Bring student supervision, communication, and sound judgment to daily school activities under the Principal’s direction.
