Inspect and repair trailers as a full time, in office Technician in Coteau-du-Lac, using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.

Under the Shop Supervisor, this Technician determines trailer defects, completes preventive maintenance, and restores equipment operation. The position requires trailer diagnosis, repair, testing, and compliance with manufacturer and government requirements. C.A.T. Inc. serves the transportation industry from its Coteau-du-Lac location.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform annual and periodic equipment inspections
Detect trailer problems and determine required repairs
Repair brakes, suspension, lights, and other components
Clean, lubricate, and test repaired equipment
Complete repairs within prescribed deadlines

Requirements:
Two to five years of related experience
Ability to diagnose and repair any trailer type
Ability to use and understand diagnostic equipment
Ability to organize and manage priorities effectively
Welding and fabrication experience considered an asset
