Support person-centered recreation therapy at Kingsland Terrace in Calgary through therapeutic activity programs and compassionate resident care. This temporary full time position supports continuing care residents.

Intercare seeks a Recreation Therapy Aide for its Alberta-based continuing care services. The role assists with scheduling, preparing, and implementing planned therapeutic activities while supporting residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams. You will document programs, attendance, care, and interactions, and report participation changes or resident requests.

Key Responsibilities:
Schedule, prepare, and implement planned therapeutic activity programs
Maintain program and attendance records
Document care, programs, and interactions in health records
Collaborate with residents, families,



and interdisciplinary care teams
Attend meetings, training, and quality improvement activities

Requirements:
Recognized Recreation Therapy Aide certification preferred
Minimum two years’ continuing care experience
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
Current emergency first aid certificate or required training
Food Protected Handling certification or required in-house training
