Lead summer camp programs for the Town of Oakville using program planning, safety oversight, and strong communication skills. This is a part-time student position.

Reporting to full time staff and the Camp Coordinator, the Senior Leader supports daily camp operations, program delivery, and on-site administration. The position monitors staff, volunteers, and participants while maintaining program quality and facility conditions. It also supports HIGH FIVE principles and public health guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor daily camp programs through staff and participant interactions
Lead during emergencies when senior staff are absent
Plan and deliver quality camp programming
Resolve behaviour and conduct issues using approved procedures




Report incidents and provide regular staff updates

Requirements:
Current Intermediate First Aid with CPR C certification
HIGH FIVE PHCD certification before starting duties
Satisfactory vulnerable sector or criminal record check
Full time student status or September study acceptance confirmation
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and program planning skills

Support protected, inclusive camp delivery in Oakville through leadership, supervision, customer service, and effective program planning.
