This Technician handles, consolidates, and processes hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials received by processing facilities. The position requires a post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in chemistry or environmental studies. Two years of MHSW, chemistry, or relevant experience is required, alongside a valid G License and personal transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the Region of Halton MHSW Depot
- Identify, sort, and pack waste chemicals
- Weigh materials and record inventory data
- Provide customer service to visiting residents
- Maintain clean grounds and facility
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma required
- Two years of MHSW, chemistry, or relevant experience
- Valid G License and personal transportation

- Strong communication skills with representatives and public
