Drive Golden’s open roads as a Rural and Suburban Mail Carrier, sorting and delivering mail safely in changing conditions. This temporary role is on-call relief.

Canada Post seeks dependable, organized individuals for on-call delivery to various communities. The work involves sorting, collecting, and delivering mail while operating a motor vehicle independently. You will maintain local route knowledge, secure mail, and process Canada Post products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sort, collect, and deliver mail safely and promptly
- Learn local roads, customers, and delivery receptacles
- Keep mail safely secured while in possession
- Process Change of Address and Damaged Mail products
- Wear visible Canada Post identification during deliveries

Requirements:

- Valid permanent provincial class 5 or G driver’s licence
- Satisfactory safe driving record with driver’s abstract
- Experience making deliveries and operating a motor vehicle
- Ability to work in wide-ranging weather and traffic conditions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
