We are seeking a Personal Injury Litigation Lawyer with 1-3 years of experience to join a legal practice in Ottawa, ON. The ideal candidate will have experience handling motor vehicle accident (MVA) files, assisting with litigation proceedings, and providing excellent client service.

Responsibilities

- Manage and support personal injury litigation files involving motor vehicle accidents.
- Assist with all stages of litigation, including examinations for discovery, mediations, pre-trials, and trials.
- Help develop case strategies and support the progression of files toward settlement or trial.
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide outstanding customer service.
- Prioritize and manage multiple files, tasks, and deadlines.
- Assist with negotiations and dispute resolution.
- Draft explicit, concise, and effective legal correspondence and documentation.




- Build strong client relationships and maintain professionalism in stressful situations.

Qualifications

- 1-3 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Licence to practise law with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO).
- Experience with motor vehicle accident litigation is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and dispute-resolution abilities.
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and manage challenging situations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Client-focused approach with the ability to build effective professional relationships.
