Support stage management for The Canadian Badlands Passion Play in Drumheller, assisting rehearsals, performances, and backstage coordination.

This summer internship runs from May 10 to July 29, 2012. You will work closely with the stage manager and assistant stage managers on a large outdoor production. The work includes supporting a director, acting company, and technical rehearsals while helping performances run smoothly. The production features more than 200 mostly volunteer actors, live animals, and a choir.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the director and acting company during rehearsals
- Support technical rehearsals and performances
- Help maintain a healthy, safe working environment
- Update paperwork for props and wardrobe
- Cue actors throughout various performance locations

Requirements:

- Enrollment in a theatre study program
- Focus on stage management preferred
- Background in stage management welcomed
- Robust attention to detail and people skills
- Willingness to learn and respond during crises

Develop stage management experience through backstage coordination, rehearsal support, cueing, and paperwork for this outdoor theatrical production.
