Reporting to the Director of Care, this Registered Practical Nurse coordinates care delivery and promotes the Home’s values, goals, and philosophy. The position provides supervision, leadership, and education to healthcare team members. It also supports residents, families, and staff as a resource and advocate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and modify care plans after resident status changes
- Administer medications and treatments according to required policies
- Complete RAI-MDS and other resident assessments
- Direct, assign, and evaluate PSW work
- Monitor resident care against the Bill of Rights

Requirements:

- Current Ontario Registered Practical Nurse Certificate of Competence
- Basic CPR certification
- Long-term care experience considered an asset
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- RAI-MDS AIS certification, or completion within one year
