This winter seasonal operator position runs from October 1st to April 30th, with potential for year-round employment. You will maintain Alberta Provincial Highways using snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment. The work also includes labourer duties and responding to changing weather patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and heavy equipment
- Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways during winter conditions
- Assist with crack sealing and pothole repair
- Clean bridges and highway signage
- Remediate hazards while working outdoors

Requirements:

- Hold a valid Class 1, 2, or 3 licence with air endorsement
- Provide a explicit three-year driver’s abstract
- Complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Lift up to 50 pounds during physically demanding tasks
- Snowplow or wheel loader experience is an asset; training provided
