Support recreation facility operations through cleaning, setup, maintenance assistance, and guest service at three Strathcona County centres. Evening and weekend work required.

As an Arena Operator I, you will work within the Rural Facilities team and alongside Arena Operations staff. The position supports safe, clean facilities for guests and employees while addressing changing building needs. Multiple hourly positions are available at Strathcona Olympiette Centre, Ardrossan Recreation Complex, and Moyer Recreation Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete assigned daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning
- Support regular maintenance and facility needs
- Remove snow and set up equipment
- Assist with special event support
- Help maintain arena surfaces with senior operators

Requirements:

- Ability to plan and organize daily tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Adaptability with diverse users and changing needs
- Availability for evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labour
