Deliver personal care and daily living support as a part-time Personal Support Worker with Extendicare. Use communication skills while supporting vulnerable adults.
This Personal Support Worker position supports residents and clients under supervisor direction. Responsibilities include personal hygiene, mobility, meal preparation, reporting, and emotional support. Experience with seniors in community health services is required.
Key Responsibilities: Follow each resident’s plan of care under supervisor direction
Assist with hygiene, daily living, ambulation, and transfers
Observe and report changes in resident or client condition
Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support
Maintain confidentiality and protected,



clean care environments
Requirements: Graduate of a Personal Support Worker program
Experience working with seniors in community health services
Strong written, oral, interpersonal, and customer focus skills
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
Vulnerable Sector Check and ability to lift or transfer clients
Apply personal care, mobility assistance, communication, and reporting skills while supporting residents through Extendicare’s standards.
