Support play-based learning as a Registered Early Childhood Educator with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. Foster cognitive, emotional, and social development.
This 50% term position supports Junior and Senior Kindergarten students in a full-day Early Learning Program. Working under the Principal, you collaborate with classroom teachers and lead extended before- and/or after-school programming. The work includes daily classroom activities, communication with families, and support for children across diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality play-based education for Kindergarten students
Support cognitive, emotional, and social development
Collaborate with classroom teachers during daily activities




Lead designated extended before- and/or after-school programs
Model healthy adult-child relationships and positive discipline
Requirements: Two-year Early Childhood Education program or equivalent
Registration and valuable standing with Ontario College
Minimum one year of child care experience
Valid First Aid certification and CPR
Strong communication, judgement, initiative, and creativity
Bring early childhood development knowledge and collaborative classroom skills to Ottawa-Carleton District School Board Kindergarten programs.
