As a Control and Compliance Intern, you will support Finance - Accounting and Controllership. Your assignments include SOX 404 control walkthroughs, SOX 302 reporting checklists, process mapping, and evidence coordination. The role is based at DECIEM Head Office, 15 Fraser Avenue.
Key Responsibilities: Perform basic control testing under guidance
Prepare summaries and checklists for 302 reporting cycles
Develop business process maps with related controls
Follow up on outstanding audit tracking items
Update narratives, control matrices, and documentation templates
Requirements:



Current undergraduate studies in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Commerce
Relevant coursework in accounting, auditing, or business controls
Familiarity with control documentation, risk assessment, or audit support
Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PowerBI proficiency
Explicit communication and ability to follow guidance
Bring careful documentation, Microsoft Office, and compliance knowledge to DECIEM’s Accounting and Controllership team in Toronto.
