As a Registered Practical Nurse, you provide professional nursing care within an interdisciplinary team. You supervise health care staff while supporting quality, person-focused care. Your practice follows RHPA, College of Nurses of Ontario standards, and Fixing Long Term Care Act requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care to Providence Manor residents
Supervise care provided by health care staff
Assess needs through resident care plan development
Deliver care supporting physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs




Lead communication between care team members and Registered Nurses
Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario certificate of competence
Medication Administration included in current nursing certification
Current CPR certification
Knowledge of applicable legislative and regulatory standards
Ability to use therapeutic communication with residents and families
Bring person-centered care, medication administration, and interdisciplinary collaboration to residents as a part time Registered Practical Nurse.
