The Presales Solutions Architect is a key part of the organization providing technical pre-sales support to the sales team to design and propose solutions for prospects and customers. In this role, you will drive the technical aspects of customer engagements, providing architectural guidance and best practices to help businesses of all sizes, from startups, ISVs, SMBs to enterprises, leverage the power of OpsGuru’s AWS solutions. You will collaborate closely with customers to understand their unique business and technical requirements and translate them into tailored AWS solutions. Your technical expertise, customer-facing skills and ability to lead cross-practice initiatives will be critical in delivering innovative cloud-based solutions that drive value for our clients. Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs, pain points, and technical requirements, design relevant solution options, and help articulate them to customers, ensuring they derive value from their investments with OpsGuru. Champion customer needs internally with engineering and delivery teams to vet customer requirements and articulate custom requirements when necessary. Build proposals and SOWs for account teams to present to customers. Craft professional written responses for prospective customer RFPs. Work independently and as part of a team to help win new revenue by advocating for the customer opportunities you work on with the sales team.



Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the Presales Solutions Architect community. Work with account executives, delivery teams, partners, and client stakeholders to support the resolution of any technical, performance, or cost-related issues that arise throughout a project. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field ~6+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or cloud consulting role ~ Hands-on expertise with designing and implementing enterprise grade, cloud-based solutions, preferably on AWS ~ Broad, robust proficiency across AWS service portfolios including infrastructure, Amazon Bedrock/Anthropic Claude/OpenAI and advanced DevOps/Data architecture ~ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value ~ Willingness to travel to customer sites ,as needed to support sales and deployment activities AWS Certified Solutions Architect
