- Systems Engineering & Integration Specialist/Lead, COM Construction Management | Design | Engineering | Project Management | Full time You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably. You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land. Internal Title: Project Management IV) Lead system-level integration across projects, corridors, disciplines and delivery partners. Establish the integration strategy, integration architecture and integration planning approach. Identify integration dependencies, constraints and cross-project impacts. Coordinate integration of infrastructure, track, signalling/train control, electrification, communications, stations, rolling stock interfaces, operations and maintenance. Maintain an end-to-end railway perspective rather than assessing projects solely within individual contractual boundaries. Interface Management: Establish and maintain the program/corridor interface-management framework. Identify physical, functional, operational, organizational and project-to-project interfaces. Define interface requirements and coordinate Interface Control Documents (ICDs). Coordinate interfaces between Metrolinx projects and adjacent/external railway stakeholders. Requirements Engineering: Establish and maintain system-level requirements and their allocation to projects/subsystems.

Coordinate cross-system verification where evidence spans several projects or contracts. Design Integration & Technical Reviews: Coordinate technical resolution across engineering disciplines and projects. Maintenance & Lifecycle Engineering: Experience developing maintenance strategies for complex railway or transit systems. Ability to convert Operations & Maintenance needs into measurable engineering Understanding of the relationship between systems engineering, asset management, maintenance engineering, RAM, system safety, testing and commissioning, and operational readiness. Office-based With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs Minimum of 12 years of experience in Project Management. Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Railway Engineering or a related engineering/technical discipline. Holding a recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Significant experience delivering complex multidisciplinary rail/transit systems. Demonstrated experience in systems engineering, systems integration and interface management. Strong knowledge of requirements engineering, system architecture, RAMS, V&V; and configuration/change management.

Experience integrating multiple delivery packages and contractors within an operating railway environment. BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE: Railway RAMS / safety lifecycle knowledge consistent with EN 50126 principles. Experience with requirements-management tools such as IBM DOORS/DOORS Next or equivalent is desirable.
