Build specialized tooling and equipment while applying blueprint reading and machining skills in a contract Tool and Die Maker role. Support production through exact fabrication and repairs.

This contract Tool and Die Maker position requires current tool build experience and die build capability. The work includes constructing tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures from designed prints or instructions. You will produce prototype tooling, diagnose dies, troubleshoot presses, and operate standard tool room machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate specialized tooling and equipment for production requirements
Build tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures from blueprints
Produce prototype tooling and develop results from concepts
Inspect, diagnose, and repair dies as required
Troubleshoot presses and minimize production downtime

Requirements:
Tool and Die Certificate
Grade 12 Diploma
Two years of die build experience
Ability to read blueprints and standard drawings
Progressive and hand transfer dies experience required
