As a Utility Operations Technician, you will support Underground Services projects, contracts, inspections, preventative maintenance, and asset management. The work involves collaborating with Engineering, contractors, consultants, municipal departments, and UGS employees. Your technical knowledge will support water distribution, wastewater collection, stormwater systems, operational equipment, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage UGS projects and contracts with Engineering and contractors
- Coordinate water distribution and wastewater collection programs




- Complete construction certifications and final acquisition inspections
- Transition current infrastructure into operational service
- Prepare reports for water, wastewater, and storm operations

Requirements:

- Diploma in civil or construction engineering or related technical program
- Three years of related utility or construction experience
- Eligibility for ASET membership
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications, Adobe, and mapping software
- Valid Class 5 Operator’s Licence
