Reporting to the Facilities and Environmental Manager, the Laundry Aide cares for linen supplies and residents’ personal clothing. The position follows health and safety, infection control, quality management, and machine-operation guidelines. It also supports laundry services, facility cleanliness, and resident safety within established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive, sort, classify, wash, and dry laundry
- Follow treatment instructions for soiled linens
- Label, sort, deliver, and collect personal clothing
- Report machine malfunctions to the Facilities and Environmental Manager
- Clean laundry areas and maintain equipment and supplies

Requirements:

- Minimum grade 10 education
- Previous housekeeping experience
- Ability to read, write English, and follow instructions
- Understanding of chemical, equipment, and infection control processes
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
